The Road Yet Taken

If you follow along another’s path, you can only reach where they have gone. Discovery requires one to stray from the path, make a wrong turn, walk where there are no footsteps.

That road is not marked. Indeed, ofttimes it is not a road at all, but a dead end. Yet, the brave few, those who leave new trails behind, know that beyond a dead end, is new life.

There is nothing you cannot do. There is only what you have not done. There is nothing you do not know. There is only that which you do not know today.

What we have learned from the life of Steve Jobs, is that there is always more – another path, a second road, an undiscovered wilderness. There are no maps that lead to your discovery.

But once there, the view, my friend, is glorious.
